Jeff McCoy

Director of Theatre Arts

Jeff McCoy is the Director of Theatre Arts at Pulaski County High School.  During his tenure at the PCHS, his troupe has won numerous district and conference titles, been to eight Virginia High School League (VHSL) State Championships and won two VHSL Group AA State Titles. The acting company regularly produces seven shows a year along with the Shelor Growing the Future Talent Show, district-wide Love the Bus Campaigns, Anti- Bullying Programs and the area’s only Children’s Division productions with over 80 students from the New River Valley for the last seven years. He has also directed regional theatre productions including this Christmas’ production of A CHRISTMAS STORY: THE MUSICAL for the Summer Musical Enterprise (December 17-20 at Haymarket Theatre in the Squire’s Student Center on the Virginia Tech Campus). He has acted all along the east coast as far north as New Hampshire and was a judge for the NRV Fair’s American Idol Competitions for three years. He is a member of Belmont Christian Church where he is also in one of the praise teams.
